The history of niroflex began in 1920 when Friedrich Münch founded the company in Mühlacker, Swabia. The company initially specialized in the manufacture of ring braids and scale braids for bags, wallets, and accessories. The founder’s commitment to technical innovation shaped the company’s development from the very beginning.
Throughout the 20th century, product and material expertise was continuously developed. A decisive milestone was the introduction of the first safety glove made of welded stainless steel ring mesh in 1968. This development laid the foundation for today’s specialization in metal cut protection solutions.
