We are an internationally oriented a family owned company internationally oriented with a long experience in manufacturing and marketing products and systems made of metal chain mail intended for individual protection, safety systems and architecture.

Milestones

• 1920 Company founded by Friedrich Münch in Mühlacker

• 1968 World launch of the first protective glove made of stainless chain mail
  welded rings

• 1990 Development of the first stab proof inserts for ballistic protection vests

• 1999 Obtained DIN EN ISO 9001 certification

• 2001 Acquisition of the Swedish manufacturer Ergoflex

• 2002 Acquisition of the British manufacturer Manabo

• 2005 Manufacture of chain mail in large widths for uses in the civilian and
  military sectors

• 2006 Establishment of the company proMesh GmbH for the marketing of
  alphamesh, a new chain mail design for architectural use

• 2008 Construction of a new and enlarged office and production complex

• 2008 a Chamber of Commerce recognised company that takes on
  individuals for training under the German Vocational Training Act
